Pretreating and it’s Benefit

Pretreatment with brine increases the efficiency of storm clean up and prevents bonding of snow and ice to the pavement. It can be effective up to 4-5 days prior to a snow event.

We custom blend for every event and part of the blending process is adding 32% calcium to the brine. We look at the pavement temperatures and what they will be at the time of the storm to determine the most effective mixture.
