Get To Know Our Team: Tate Fernholz– Area Manager

As an Area Manager Tate’s typical day includes managing the day-to-day operations at our Shakopee South Metro locations. When it’s not snowing, he spends his time at the shop helping with the maintenance of the fleet. Every day is a little different, one day he will be in Shakopee, another day helping at the shop, or out helping haul equipment.

Tate has been plowing right out of high school and has continued working in the snow and ice management industry working his way up to an Area Manager. His experience has stemmed from his own hands-on experience and working alongside others in the industry.

When he is not working, he spends his time with his fiancé or detailing vehicles, snowmobiling, and riding his motorcycle. An item he has checked off his bucket list was visiting Hawaii, but he would love to do more traveling.

His favorite item is his Harley Davidson motorcycle because it’s his stress reliever and a way for him to put his problems behind him for a little while.
