Get to know our team: Richie Garin- Truck Driver

As a truck driver, Richie spends his day doing many different things. During the summer months, he is in charge of picking up and delivering materials to and from various job sites, using either the hook lift truck or one of the dump trucks. In the winter months, he drives the salt and brine trucks, sometimes both trucks in the same night! He is also available to help plow when the team needs a break.

Richie has experience in OTR truck driving. He has over 8 years of driving plow trucks and clearing sidewalks with toolcats. He also has a few years of sales experience where he sold and installed truck bodies and ice and snow equipment.

One of Richie’s passions is leather craft. He makes wallets, handbags, backpacks, and purses. His favorite hobby is walleye fishing. An item on his bucket list would be to travel to Ireland and Germany to see where his family originally came from.

If he had a superpower, it would be invisibility. A favorite car of his is the 1970 Chevelle SS LS6 454. It is by far the most beautiful and powerful of all the muscle cars of that era, and he would love to own one someday.
