Get to know our team: Jake Lorentzen: Assistant Operations Manager

As the Assistant Operations Manager at Hantho Outdoor Services, Jake helps oversee the daily operations of landscape projects and fertilization/ turf chemical applications. He is also responsible for sidewalk crews, hiring and training new employees, routes and checking sites for the winter months.

His typical day includes running a small crew in completing projects that include plant installation, mulch and turf maintenance.

He gained a wide range of skills by working at a horse ranch. He’s learned from his dad who has a background in the lawn care industry and in addition has installed and maintained docks in the Minnetonka areas. He has been with Hantho Outdoor Services for about 5 years and focused on commercial snow removal sales and has more recently moved into the operations side of things.
