Daily Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Utilizes job tracking software
  • Follows predetermined route and schedule
  • Able to safely operate a truck and trailer
  • Thorough understanding of irrigation systems including traditional and 2-wire systems
  • Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains residential to large commercial Irrigation systems
  •  Maintains knowledge of various irrigation equipment
  • Keeps truck and supplies neat and organized
  • Communicates with customers on-site


  • One to two years’ experience in irrigation field
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Required)
  • Health card, or ability to obtain one
  • Back flow certification, or ability to obtain one
  • Ability to pass a drug screening
  • Low voltage certification, or ability to obtain one

Physical Requirements

  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Stoop, bend, lift, kneel, carry objects for short distances
  • Work in adverse weather including heat, cold, wind, and rain
  • Lift/ push 75 lbs without difficulty
  • Twist body
  • Wheelbarrow up to 200 lbs at a time

  • Monday – Thursday; generally between the hours of 7:30am and 6:30pm. Weekends or overtime on an as-needed basis. Hours vary by month based on business demands.
